Business booms for another area attraction...The city center market, which kicked off last week in Mankato to a small start, had some better luck this week.They went from having two vendors last weekend to having four times that today.This week they were selling everything from jewelry to antiques, to furniture and even birdcages.Organizer Mitch Finnegan was pleased with the vendor turnout and the amount of traffic they had.Mitch Finnegan says, "It's fabulous, I'm so excited. I get calls everyday now, i even get people stopping by today, wanting to know when they can come. It's a diamond in the rough."The market is located on Plum Street, between second and riverfront.Finnegan says they expect to have even more vendors next week.
