While many people watched the big game in different ways...the town of Amboy not only celebrated the game, but the word Soup-er bowl in the literal sense.It's become a three-year, all you can eat tradition featuring four homemade soups including chili.For this small town the Souper Bowl Chili Fundraiser is a way for the community to experience food fun and fellowship while spending time with each other.Karl Reuter says, "It's a great way for community members to get together and anytime we have a chance to come together as a group... we're pretty good at that."For many, the best part of the event was getting to take home the ceramic bowl custom made just for the occasion.All of the proceeds raised from the fundraiser will go to the local community club.
